Ingredients
2 cups Basil or power greens (kale and spinach)
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup pecorino romano (if you are dairy sensitive, you can substitute 3-4 T of nutritional yeast)
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup pine nuts or walnuts
1T lemon juice
1/8t black pepper
Directions
Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender except the oil.
Blend until all ingredients are fully incorporated then start adding the oil to the mixture as it is blending.
This shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
You will end up with a very bright green, creamy sauce that you can put on pasta, sourdough bread, or anything!
